Menstrual Cramps
Drink 3 to 6 litres of Nettle or Raspberry infusion weekly
Take 4 tablespoons of Cod-Liver oil daily for no more than two weeks
Motherwort tincture – 5 to 25 drops taken every five minutes for up to two hours or until pain and cramping are eased.
Cramp Bark tincture – 20 to 30 drops
Ginger tea
Willowbark tincture – 10 to 20 drops.
Life Root tincture – 3 to 10 drops taken daily between ovulation and menstruations for 4 – 12 months (also helps with menstrual headache and sore muscles)
Heavy bleeding
Drink 3 to 6 litres of Nettle or Raspberry infusion weekly
4 tablespoons of Cod-Liver oil daily for no more than two weeks
1 dropperful of the tincture of Shepherd’s Purse or of Cotton Root Bark under the tongue. Repeat the dose as needed.
I dropperful of Witchhazel Bark tincture.
Cinnamon – a large spoonful in a cup of hot water
60,000 IU of Vitamin A or beta carotene taken daily for no more than 2 to 5 weeks as Vitamin A overdose can weaken bones.
Two doses of 500 g milligrams Vitamin C daily will also reduce bleeding.
How to supercharge your life by Working with your monthly cycle
You may have noticed that immediately following your period, you start feeling a surge of energy. During this period, you should start making peace with your monthly cycle. This is called cycle syncing. Every woman can benefit from syncing their cycle.
When you know the times of the month which are most exhausting, it is a powerful asset in every woman’s life. It allows you to plan your work routine to fit in with the times when you have loads of energy. The monthly planner for your cycle could be as follows:
- Pre- ovulation
During this phase, your hormone levels start to rise and so will you your energy levels. Your brain is sharp and ready to solve the problems. This is the prime time to start your work in an efficient manner. Fill your plates with Vegetables and proteins to keep your estrogen levels in check to nourish the growing follicles.
- Ovulation: Days 13-22
This is the time to have that difficult conversation which you’ve been trying to avoid. During this phase your beta brain wave activity is high and you are filled with charisma and confidence. Schedule your important meetings where you want to make a lasting impression.
- Pre- menstruation- (Days- 23 to 28)
Estrogen, progesterone and testosterone are at the levels to drop. Your attention is starting to turn inward and you’re feeling a desire to spend time alone at home. You are thinking a bit more out of the box here. Let this creative juices flow and leverage this phase for some major manifesting.
- Menstrual phase- Days ( 1-6)
During this period, you’re naturally drawn inward. Take out sometime for yourself to rest as you may feel tired and achy for the first few days. Eat well and allow creative ideas to flow within you. Avoid difficult tasks that require energy and confidence.
